A little creek flows through the estate, which has a good population of sea trout, eel, pike and pikeperch. The creek flows directly into the fjord, where the mixture of salt and fresh water results in a rich fish population. Seals can often be seen here while paddling and sailing.

The next marinas you find in Virksund, Hjarbæk or the city of Skive, which are all pretty close.

Viborg, the next larger city, can be reached within 30 minutes. For further excursions you will find many sights and culture in the cities of Aarhus or Aalborg, which are located on the Baltic Sea. A fun day is for sure a trip to the world famous LEGOLAND near Billund. Its attractions and rides do not only fascinate the youngest of us, no – they also give us adults a lot of joy and a wonderful day too. If you like to play golf, there are three golf courts nearby, as there is the golf club at Hjarbaek Fjord, the golf club in Skive as well as the golf club in Viborg.

There is the possibility of fishing for sea trout, eel, pikeperch etc. directly from the jetty in the estate, in the nearby fjord or in the salmon waters in the area. There are opportunities for deep-sea fishing in the North and Baltic Seas, which can be reached in about 1 hour by car.
